It is a tad heavier than my old Makita but it is a much more powerful tool. It is well made, perfectly designed and feels great in your hand. It comes with a charger and 2 batteries. The charger has a fan in it to keep the batteries cool while charging. The batteries have an LED meter on them so you know when the charge is getting low. The light is in a perfect spot and lights up the area you are going to drill. I have only used it as a simple drill so far but it has more power than any drill I have ever used including my old plug in drills. The trigger works like it should, it it very linear and allows you to control the speed perfectly. I would buy another Metabo if something ever happened to this one, it is a great drill.
