South Bend Lathe SB1364 6-Inch Rotary Table Review

I ended up with this table after buying one of the cheaper ones (I sent that one back after one use, it was absolutely Horrific!). Heed my warning, don't buy the cheaper tables!!! this table is only about $50 more than the cheap 6", and only about $150 more than the cheap 4" (the terrible, cheap, POS, can't say enough bad about it one that I bought, and returned to exchange for this one was a 4" w/indexing). I can really say with confidence that in this case a little extra investment goes a long way, .

My conclusion,

Pros:
-Everything is very well machined, looks great.
-All tolerances are very tight.
-Backlash is minimal (out of the box 2 arc minutes), and adjustable.
-Extremely smooth operation.
-Comes with an instruction manual.

Cons:
-None that I can find!
