We had one of these installed to circulate hot water in two of the three circuits in our 3000 square foot, 3 floor row house. We switched it on in January 2008 and it started making a much louder noise in April 2012, leading me to switch it off. (I probably switched it off two or three times in between). I called Bell and Gossett to ask about servicing and was told that it this pump is designed to be a throw away pump rather than servicing it. I'm not overly impressed.
