So I replaced half of my xenon Juno 22" under cabinet lights with these fixtures, and I have to say they distribute light more evenly. The color is cooler than a xenon, but as a xenon is even warmer than halogen, that was expected. I didn't expect the 1 or so second delay from turning on. But it's livable. I like that they don't get hot and distribute the light evenly, and are the same in brightness as the 60w (20w x 3) xenon bulb fixtures that I replaced while using just 6 watts. I do recommend these since the others I looked at (Ikea) weren't providing nearly the same amount of light. Today I think every watt saved is money in the bank and if I were doing a new install or remodel I would only purchase LED lights. They are probably not worth the cost (ROI) if you are just replacing for the new technology, but the reduced heat may be worth the cost if your kitchen is small and heats up anyway from the oven and halogen lighting you probably already have.
