We bought this sink to replace a large single bowl porcelain sink that was peeling. The design allows for the functionality of the single bowl to allow ease in washing large pots and pans, but the shelf also comes in handy for use in washing fruits and veggies and placing small items on, while using less water in filling the sink. I was worried that water spots would show but they do not and the sink is very easy to keep clean and nice looking. The espresso color matches beautifully with our Delta bronze faucet. I would definitely purchase again.
