Brizo 63055LF-SSCO Vuelo Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Cocoa Bronze and Stainless Steel Review

We have had a Brizo Smart Touch Faucet for about 6 years and so when we moved we found we really missed the features. So we ordered another for the new house. I will review both the faucet and the ordering process separately as they are very different and I know when I read reviews I want to know about both.

Faucet: As I said we loved our previous faucet and did not hesitate to replace it. But we noticed a couple of differences.

Pros: the style is new. I have black granite countertops so the two-tone is beautiful with it. Also, it is now a one-hole which we needed as we did not want to drill into the granite for another if we could help it. I absolutely love the design--it does, indeed, look like a swan so it adds some elegance to our new place.

Cons(?): The functional change that we noted is that this one no longer senses objects (hands, plates, etc.) under it--just touch. My husband (who washes almost as many dishes as i do) was disappointed, but that was always a frustration that I had in that the faucet would sense my hands scrubbing pots and accidentally turn on. It wasn't so bad at the other house because we had an oversized sink and I could position it away from my scrubbing a little better. But, as I pointed out to my husband, with a smaller sink that would be a much more frequent frustration and he agreed. The other problem that both faucets had is that it does not sense my touch when I am using rubber gloves--thank goodness I don't use them when i am cooking but it is a little irritating when I am scrubbing pots and so I'm back to using it as a regular faucet. If you never use gloves you will be very impressed with its sensitivity to touch--works beautifully.

Order processing: The big thing to do is check the model number. I was so excited to see the pull-down at such a great price but when it was delivered (quite quickly) I found it was not a pull down faucet--a feature I really wanted. I called Faucets and More and they did a quick exchange for me with no restocking fee but I did have to pay for shipping back and the increase in faucet cost. The regular faucet model is Brizo 64055LF where the pull-down model is Brizo 64355LF. This faucet is available on line in a variety of pricing so do check first. Faucets and More was very accommodating and easy to work with but I think what is shown in the pics and copy doesn't always match the right model. Not sure if that's a Faucets and More problem or Amazon.

Otherwise we a very satisfied--5 star for faucet and 4 star for order processing. If I had checked the model number first it would have been a 5.
