Bought two fans and had them professionally installed under a covered patio. The fans looked and worked great. Fans started to get spots about a year later. By now all of the metal parts are covered with rust stains. Fans are explicitely marketed as suitable for damp locations. Very disappointing to see this from Emerson. I sent an email to their customer service. Let's see what they come back with.
