They look high-end and very nice- it was recommended/included in our major kitchen remodeling in 2010.

However, the joystick came apart and I was told that (perhaps) the cartridge needed replacement-after only 3 years of normal wear and tear/use ("limited lifetime warranty").

I was informed (10/18/13) that Hamat's US distributor went out of business in 2011, that they would NOT honor any warranties left and that it will be hit/miss to obtain parts in the market.

SO-----Byer beware: make certain when you buy, that the seller STANDS behind his sale regardless of the above fact. Mine had no customer service, no accomodation whatsoever and I lost $410.
