We bought this fan to hang above our staircase going downstairs so we can move the air upstairs from the pellet stove. Our upstairs walkway is next to it. It is a perfect fit. It is very quiet even on high speed and there is no movement from the body (i.e. no shaking etc). It looks clean and modern and we get a lot of comments from our friends. It has a remote so no hanging pull cords! You can pick the speed and reverse it right from the remote. Also turn light off and on from remote.

The only thing we had wished was it had more light. Well, after having the fan for a month, we just figured out that if you hold the light button it is actually a dimmer! Now we have lots of light from the fan!

We are gong to buy the 52" for our living room ceiling. You will not regret this purchase!
