If you plan on swaging 3/16" cable all day, don't dare buy anything smaller than this tool. I was looking for a good balance between size/weight and leverage, and for me, this was perfect. However, after a few hours of swaging with the big 3/16" connectors, I start to really feel it, and wonder if I couldn't have found a way to tote around a slightly longer handled model. Still, the quality of the tool is excellent, it is entirely reasonable for the cable sizes it is built to handle, and after being used heavily for some time, the jaws are still as tight and smooth as the day I got it. I'm very pleased with it and will buy another just like it if I ever lose this one - I will probably lose it before it has a chance to wear out.
