All the reviews said Speakman was the way to go for the best shower experience. I have to agree - the head and the mixer valve are just wonderful. My problem with this fixture is that the plate around the faucet handle and the bell-shaped trim on the shower head are chrome colored plastic - not chrome at all. They look good now (when new) but they are lightweight and feel cheap. I am worried about how they will look in a few years. I expected this fixture to last, and I doubt it will. We'll see....
