I purchased this after considering a couple others of the same size. It fits perfectly over my 6 seater dining table and looks beautiful. The color is a dark bronze (almost black, but warmer) and the hangings are glass not plastic. Very easy to assemble and even came with extra crystals in case there was a damaged one (which was nice because we did have one broken glass ball and didn't want to wait for the company to send a replacement). Yes, this is not a large chandelier for a dining space, but while it is a bit more petite it is definitely not small. My only complaint is that you have to position the arms of the chandelier by pulling them into place, some where quite difficult and I was afraid to damage them.
**The photo online makes it look a little larger than it appears in person, and does not do justice to the way it picks up light.
